Last week, the Robustrack team took to the sprawling grounds of the Ragley Hall Estate to showcase our attachments at the UK’s largest forestry, woodland, arboriculture, firewood, fencing, trees and timber trade show, APF.
This was our second time exhibiting at APF and after the success of the last time we were hotly anticipating a great show – and it did not disappoint!
Having set the precedent at our last few shows for taking a huge number of attachments, we continued the trend here – in fact, we needed two wagon loads to get it all there!
As APF is a forestry show we couldn’t wait to show off our popular range of flails and mulchers – although it was a tough few weeks for the marketing department trying to keep enough available for the show as they have been selling like hot-cakes!
At centre stage was the T9 EU 110 DFD – a new model from Femac and the very first machine of its kind in the country. As well as the usual features a Femac mulcher offers, the T9 EU has the option of a DFD rotor, with bite limiter. The addition of this ensures that the mulcher takes much smaller and more controlled bites of material. This prevents overloading the machine, which can cause excessive wear and tear, damage to the motor, or even breakdowns.
We were excited for the launch of this new mulcher and we were right to be; it received a lot of attention and sold off the stand in record speed!
It wouldn’t be a forestry show without Agriforest’s range of tree shears and log grabs and we were pleased to display a full range on the stand. The Grip Cut series was strongly represented by the 150, 300 and 320 models. The Grip Cut 150 showed its full potential with the collector and rotator set up.
We can also exclusively announce that the NEW GRIP 420 is now available to order!
The biggest model to launch in the series, ideal for excavators 16 – 24 Ton, the Grip Cut 420 boasts an impressive 320 – 420 cut capacity and includes the options of a collector and stabilising arm, creating a sturdy stack of tree cutting prowess!
Making a show debut were the BK clamshell bucket and Poly Wood Grapple grab. They were a welcome addition to our usual Agriforest display given the sector focus and certainly made visitors stop in their tracks to take a closer look!
Despite the weather being better ‘up north’ (for once!) it was kind to us and (mostly) stayed dry for the full 3 days. As always it was a fantastic opportunity to catch up with customers, old and new, face-to-face.
One of our favourite things about the space at APF is that allows us to display our attachments on machines, with our custom fabrication, so that visitors can see them in application. This year we had a Sany SY26 with a Malaguti Plury W1.15 with post cup and grapple on display, poised ready to sink the fencing post beneath it. The Plury offers so much more than just a post driver and its versatility makes it a more than worthwhile investment. Featuring a range of accessories that can be added to the main vibration body, the Plury allows you to compact, pre-drill, drive piles and cut with a single machine.
All in all, it was a great show and we are already looking forward to APF 2026!!
