Description

The new T9 EU Mulcher from Femac is engineered for maximum durability and efficiency in forestry and land clearing applications. Choose between rotors;

• Standard with hammer blades

• DFD rotor with double-edge fixed teeth and bite limiter

The adjustable front hood can be fully opened for enhanced cutting capacity, while the mechanically adjustable rear hood and reinforced side skids provide greater control and stability.

The integrated valves block with a priority valve allows for precise oil flow adjustment, while the anti-shock and anti-cavitation valves protect the system under high pressure. Powered by a durable cast iron gear motor, the T9 EU Mulcher is the ultimate solution for efficient and reliable forestry work.

The addition of the bite limiter on the DFD rotor ensures that the mulcher takes smaller, controlled bites of material. This prevents overloading the machine, which can cause excessive wear and tear, damage to the motor, or even breakdowns. By regulating the size of the bites, the mulcher can work more efficiently. It reduces the need for the machine to slow down or struggle when encountering large or dense material, allowing for smoother operation. With a bite limiter, the cutting is more precise and controlled, which leads to a finer, more even mulch output. It also helps avoid “gouging” the material, resulting in a more uniform mulch spread. Mulching large or tough materials can sometimes cause kickback or sudden movements in the machine. A bite limiter can mitigate these risks by reducing the load, making the operation safer for the operator. Because the bite limiter reduces stress on the machine, it extends the life of critical components like the cutting teeth, rotor, and engine, lowering the need for frequent repairs or replacements.
