Sales Representative

Robustrack is a busy and growing family-run business that supplies hydraulic attachments for excavators, imported from Europe and delivered throughout the UK and worldwide. We pride ourselves on our dedication to quality, innovation and exceptional customer service.
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a driven Sales Representative to join our team, learn various aspects of the business and play an integral role in managing sales enquiries while fostering strong relationships with existing clients and attracting new customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for customer sales inquiries via phone, email, social media and in person.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to communicate and execute our customer value proposition, ensuring our solutions align with customer needs.
- Provide expert advice on product selection, ensuring customers receive tailored recommendations.
- Generate quotes and invoices using QuickBooks accounting system.
- Manage customer relationships through Insightly CRM, ensuring clear and timely communication.
- Promote Robustrack’s values and products proactively in every interaction.
- Collaborate with the admin, marketing, workshop, and management teams to maintain high-quality customer service and drive business development.
- Build strong relationships with existing and potential customers, ensuring a seamless sales process.
- Negotiate effectively to convert inquiries into confirmed orders.
- Resolve customer issues with empathy, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Attend industry trade shows, gathering leads and engaging with new and existing customers.
- Follow up on quotations and leads to maximise sales opportunities.
- Provide exceptional after-sales support, maintaining ongoing relationships with customers.
We are looking for someone who:
- Demonstrates Robustrack’s core values in all interactions and acts with professionalism at all times.
- Understands the attributes required to thrive in a family-run business environment as part of a small, close-knit team.
- Is flexible, adaptable and willing to support others when needed.
- Has experience or a strong interest in the plant/machinery sector (advantageous).
- Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing, maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
- Is organised and has strong time management skills.
- Takes an empathetic, customer-first approach to service, ensuring a positive experience for every customer.
We require someone who has:
- Previous sales or retail experience.
- Experience or interest in the plant/Agri/machinery sector (advantageous).
- A good standard of English and Math.
- Strong communication and IT skills.
- The ability to work with CRM and accounting software (experience with Insightly and QuickBooks is an advantage).
