The LS4-800 is a reversible flail head for excavators 4.5 – 8 Ton that has the capacity of cutting hedges, branches and brambles up to 8cm or up to 20cm with a forestry rotor. Available with a standard rotor with Y-blades or hammer blades, forestry rotor or forestry fixed tooth.
Description
Powered by Femac, the LS4 800R offers a 900mm reversible cut. With a choice of standard or forestry rotor this flail can cut anything from 8 to 20cm. Unlike others, Robustrack flails do not require a drain line thanks to being fitted with a block of valves that acts as an anti-cavitation/flow control system that stops any spike in pressure or sudden stoppage from damaging the motor. Without the cutting roller the flail can cut from left to right and from right to left as you cut. The cutting efficiency is increased as well as the area you can clear per hour. This is beneficial especially when working on the road, where minimising the time you spend travelling against the traffic flow is essential.
At Robustrack we aim to supply your attachment ready to use upon delivery so provide the option of mounting brackets, pipes and couplings with your order. We can also fabricate custom orders in our workshop for options including flotation brackets, angled adaptors, thumbs and much more.
