Back in April, we shared our excitement about Laurini’s upcoming milestone — the launch of the Settanta, a machine set to redefine capability in the pipeline and demolition sectors. Last month, that vision roared to life.
We were honoured to be among global guests at Laurini’s headquarters in Italy to celebrate 70 years of engineering innovation and witness the grand unveiling of the Settanta — the Game Changer.
Laurini’s yard was alive with anticipation as the Settanta took centre stage. From its robust frame to its unmatched hydraulic reach, this machine impressed not only with scale — but with purpose. Capable of lifting up to 45 tonnes and reaching out over 11.5 metres, the Settanta is built for serious work in extreme conditions. Whether it’s pipe handling, heavy demolition, or long-reach excavation, it delivers the kind of performance that operators can rely on day in, day out.
Its hydrostatic transmission, advanced joystick controls and operator-first design were clear evidence of Laurini’s engineering maturity. And when paired with Malaguti attachments — for which Robustrack is the exclusive UK distributor — it becomes a truly versatile powerhouse.
But beyond the machinery, it was the spirit of celebration that made this event unforgettable. The day began with warm welcomes and registration under the Parma sun, followed by a live demo that drew admiring glances and enthusiastic conversation from seasoned professionals and newcomers alike. The excitement carried through to the evening, as guests were treated to a private tour of the legendary culatello cellars at Antica Corte Pallavicina — a perfect blend of tradition and taste.
Dinner was served in true Emilian style at “Al Cavallino Bianco” with heartfelt speeches, music, and an electric sense of community. Conversations ran late into the night under fairy-lit trees, with an open bar and DJ set bringing everyone — engineers, designers, distributors — together on the dancefloor.
Laurini proved once again that their strength lies not only in steel and hydraulics — but in relationships, heritage, and vision.
