The LS4 1000 is a flail mower suitable for excavators, loaders and skidsteers from 5-8 Ton. Available with a choice or either Y blades or hammer blades it is the ideal choice for cutting grass, brambles and hedges up to 8cm in diameter. Also suitable for skidsteers and loaders.
Description
The LS4 hedge cutters are fitter with a roller, adjustable in 3 different positions. This feature is particularly appreciated when it comes to clearing areas with stones or debris meaning the operator can choose to increase the distance between the blades and the ground reducing impact with foreign objects. There is no requirement for a drain line with our flails as they are fitted with a block of valves designed to act as an anti-cavitation/flow control system that prevents a spike in pressure from damaging the motor of the flail. The LS4 1000 offers a cutting width of 1050mm and cuts branches up to 70mm. Provided with your measurements we can supply a mounting bracket, pipes and couplings to suit ensuring your attachment is delivered ready to work. We can also fabricate custom orders in our workshop for options including flotation brackets, angled adaptors, thumbs and much more.

Choice of Y blades or hammer blades on the rotor. Y blades are more suited to grass and hedge cutting where a neater finish is desired. Hammer blades are more robust and versatile and tend to be the most popular choice for general use.
